Editing Tracks

Hi All,

I'm looking for the best way to edit tracks using SS.

1) Can track marks be added from SS vs by hand? The book does not mention any methods.

2) After a recording has been made, is their a way to rename tracks as a batch job?

3) How do I FF thru a recording to find gaps before exporting to PC. I know this can be done after the fact from the library but would like to edit before exporting.

If this topic has been discussed in the past a link to the discussion will suffice. BTW, I did do a search on this topic and got a lots of hits but found no matches.

Hi Nito. I'm still new around these boards but I think the answers to your questions are no, no, and manually. I've just recently discovered that tracks recorded throuch SS from a PC cannot have track marks added to them. In your second question, if you mean naming a bunch of tracks at once in order (File1, File2, File3, etc.), I haven't seen any option to make that happen. As for fastforwarding, I don't think there is any way to fast forward through a song on the disc using SS. I could be wrong though. I hope this answers your questions. Anyone with more insight or knowledge than I have can chime in on this.
