Any news on NW-HD6?

Has anyone got any news on this. A google search throws upa couple of Japanese pages but no pics and i cannot decifer any details.

Looking to buy an HD5 in October but don't want to do this is the next generation player is just around the corner.

Apple's probably the only electronics/IT company with any amount of paparazzi attention. This isn't the car industry... there's usually next to nothing on the grapevine about other companies, including Sony.

When I typed NW-HD6 into google, I found HD5 reviews saying "I hope they change this/make this better on the HD6", so they're not rumors just wishful thinking.

Last year the HD3 became available in Japan on December 10, so Sony can pull a holiday product launch sometimes... I don't know, should be wait for the next rocket to come?

Yeah, it's pretty much a patient wait until something pops up on AV Watch or some other Japanese blog; rest assured if any information is found it will be posted here immediately. Usual Sony product releases are in Spring and Fall, but as Leon noted the HD3 was random in it's debut, so who knows. I think Sony really hit a home run with the HD5, so they're probably not rushing to nullify it yet.
