oar1125 Posted December 8, 2004 Report Share Posted December 8, 2004 Hi Everyone, So Christmas is right around the corner and lately I've been thinking about getting somehting so that i can start taping shows. I'm wondering if I get a MiniDisc player, if that will be enough to record show, not just through hooking up to soundboards (yes I know that many other bands don't allow this, but some smaller ones do) but using a mic and stuff. If so, what stuff do I need for the MiniDisc player to start recording live shows and how much would it cost (ballpark estimate). There is a wealth of information that will be very helpful to you just within this "Live Recording" forum alone. Just start with this first page. I learned the most just by reading others' scenarios.
