bluecrab
I'd like to start titling, but only if I can use a keyboard. I know the Sony 630/930 640/940 have PS/2 input, but I would like to know what other models (don't have to be Sony) have this feature. I'm looking to buy used, on Ebay or elsewhere. Does anyone happen to know which other models have this feature? I guess I might consider the JVC XM-448, which has a remote with a QWERTY keypad. It turns up on ebay occasionally. Thanks for any help. Bruce
yakko
I don't know of any others that I've seen with a PS2 input other than the ones you mentioned. I love the keyboard functionality of my 930. It makes the entire operation of the unit easier, not just titling.
atrain
if you own a pc then you could buy a cheap/second hand net md from ebay and title on a proper qwerty keyboard. look at an old n505, 707, n1, 710 410 etc
KJ_Palmer
The Sony MDS-JE7xx series also have PS/2 keyboard inputs, ie. MDS-JE770, 780... Don't know of any other decks that do, although as Adrian points out, any NetMD or Hi-MD can title via a PC and Sonicstage/Simpleburner. Quite frankly that's how I do almost all my titling these days, though I do have a JB940 deck.....
