justin_barbier
Well... IMO this is some pretty crappy software in general.. i get the same message ALL the time. I've installed Sonicstage 2.3 and it seems to be a little better, try doing that and see if it helps... sorry I can't offer you any more help, but this same problem keeps infuriating me as well. Christopher
terror, make sure you upgrade to Sonicstage 2.3 as Justin states. Also, please read this after upgrading to Sonicstage 2.3: http://www.css.ap.sony.com/announcement/An...il.asp?Id=30162
Eryn Vorn
Hello, I bought a MD MZ-NH900. The software delivered with the MD (Sonicstage 2.1) wasn't working when I connected the MD through USB. I looked around and decided to upgrade. I visited a Sony page web site and upgraded to 2.3: http://esupport.sony.com/perl/modelpage.pl?mdl=MZNH900 . The soft kept crashing. I found the solution with Microsoft knowledge database. The link to solve the issue in my partculiar case (PC under XP pro pack1 with MS04-032 Security Update for Windows (KB840987) installed): http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details...&displaylang=en It is very frustating not to find any information on Sony web sites. Christopher
Eryn, if you employ Service Pack 2, which I wholeheartedly recommend for users of XP, you don't need that update - and, the link I posted is the same thing that you wrote. Regardless, welcome to the forums :welcome:, and it's always good to see a friend in Japan!
