MZ-NH900 JE > SP-BMC-2 w/ clips

I've kept it in *.wav [a 20mb download]. Conversion was facilitated by MarcNet's HiMDrenderer; upload via Sonicstage took less than two minutes, transcoding took less than a minute.

Sounds pretty damn good, but it does clip/distort in a few places. I'm really digging live recording, guys. And yes, I feel weird about sharing a little chunk of my life with y'all, but what the hell.. cool.gif

I agree, good quality, even though there's a background noise/buzz.

You could convert it in flac format. For anybody who doesn't know, flac is an unlossy compressed format, and a plugin for WinAmp is available.

Setting Mic Sens High or Low can make the difference. Also setting AGC as Standard or for Loud Music does - how did you set them?

Kurisu, flac is simply great. I use it everyday to store my recordings in a losseless, but still compressed, format. More about the flac format is here. dBPowerAmp is a convenient and free tool to convert music into many formats - including flac and ogg Vorbis, not to count mp3 - with the use of codec plugins that are downloadable from its website. I've just seen (see the link in my previous post) that there's a new flac plugin for WinAmp not only to read, but also to write in flac format.
