thomasraden
I'm looking into upgrading my old MZ-N10 to either a Sony MZ-NH1 or a Sony MZ-NH700. The later model is substantially cheaper.I'm only after the feature of being able to record HI-MD quality from microphones and upload the resulting files to a PC.Recording sources will be quiet acoustic music. What are the sonic differences between these models regarding themicrophone input, noise levels and so on?There are rumours that the mic input noise level on the MZ-NH1 is record low compared to other models. Can anybody verify this?
Skradgee
I can't verify that there is less noise with the MZ-NH1, but I would think that there is very very little to no difference between the two units when it comes to that. I'm happy with my NH1 but if you want the more inexpensive way to record go with the NH900.
