Stefan1
When your Pocket is off, put your ear right against it... do you guys hear the hard drive spinning slowly still? I am not sure if that's normal, but may account for why my battery goes dead quickly if the unit is off and sitting outside the charger. 0 Minger
Yup, its the standby.I know that the Creative products do this as well, but do a full shut off after 24 hours and are perfectly fine; the only one of theirs to hav ea problem wiht massive draining is their Micro. And yes it does account for the battery drainage. 0 atrain
it's more like the 'whine' of a power suply rather than the 'hum' of a disk platter imo
0 auvi_joe
Yup. I noticed this as well when very very quiet and powered down and placed the unit next to the ear. I believe this is also the same source of hum heard through the headphones after VP has been powered down. Not too bothersome to me but I acknowledge that it is there. I usually have the VP in the cradle when not in use so small powerdrain is not a big issue for me either.
