Black_Shoulder
Hi,I have a NHF800 Hi-MD player. I have used a mic to record some live music my buddy plays onto a regular 80-min MD disc using the LP4 format, and have recorded something on the radio using an optic cable. I have tried to use the line-out (from the headphone/remote unit), line-in (to the sound card) method, along with Audacity, to record the tracks onto my computer. But no matter what I do, Audacity does not seem to be detecting anything and thus is recording blank tracks.Am I doing something wrong or something that I have not done? I am getting really frustrated with this. Thanks for your help!

A440
Assuming you can hear through the headphones, then the problem is probably with your Windows settings. Go to Settings--Control Panel--Sounds and Audio Devices--Audio . Under Sound Recording, click Volume and make sure Line-In is selected.
