Black_Shoulder
This probably is going to come across as a totally stupid question, but I really do want to know... I am just wondering, is there such a thing as a Hi-MD deck that has the functions of a regular MD deck, only that it is compatible with both the Hi-MD and Net-MD? If there is such a machine out there, can someone tell me a couple of the model numbers, and maybe tell me a little bit about what it can do. thanks a lot. KJ_Palmer
No, unfortunately at the moment there are no Hi-MD decks. Many of us here are watching and waiting for one to appear, but as yet none have been announced. The nearest, and that's not very near is the LAM-X1 bookshelf system.. dex Otaku
Please note that while no decks are currently available, -all- HiMD units will function as a normal MD when in netMD mode.

I wish there would be a hi-MD deck produced soon. But I think until they can make MD and Hi-MD more popular, there probably won't be a market for it.
