bobthegoat2001
Someone should make a plugin for Winamp that allows you to play .ogm, .oga files natively. And also when you connect your hi-md a new window shows up in winamp that shows all your music and allows your to drag and drop atrac files from and to your md and to your pc without any restrictions. This would solve a lot of sonic stage problems and get rid of the drm bs. Is this even possible?
dex Otaku
Sure it's possible. All you have to do is liscense the stuff from Sony, then replace the guts of the HiMD [or possibly just the firmware] so that it doesn't support DRM anymore. It should only cost you several thousand dollars at the very least.BTW, I think there actually -was- a .ogm plugin for winamp at some point. I've never been able to find it, myself. I've also heard from people who use Windows Media Player to play .ogm tracks, which doesn't work on my system even though they said it simply worked after installing SonicStage. aeriyn
There's an ATRAC plug-in for Winamp, but it still uses teh OpenMG garbage.
BobS
I play the .oma files with Windows Media Player 10. No problem. I get a message that they are not supported but do I want to try to play them anyway. I answer OK and they play just fine
