dex Otaku
DRM prevents this; this is the entire point of DRM.Unless you copied the tracks to a HiMD disc simply as data [using it as a removable drive], there is no way to get them back off the disc without copying them the old fashioned analogue way. I am interested in using the hi md discs as an emergency backup of my music collection should I ever need to purge my computer of another virus and reinstall sonic stage. dex Otaku
Close SonicStage. Open Windoze Explorer.Drop files from wherever onto the HiMD, just as you would with any disc drive or removable media.
Qwakrz
Just remember that due to sony's great use of DRM, you will not be able to copy the music in ATRAC format from one PC to the other, you can try and use the backup / restore feature but it is not ideal.OMG / OMA files are encrypted with a key that is stored on your HDD, if you reformat or reload SS you need to make a backup of your audio BEFORE you re-format or you will loose everything. Christopher
Qwakrz, if he's just copying the music as data, none of that is relevant.
