Sonicstage 2.x Registry Settings

So, anyone ever take a peek around on what's adjustable with Sonicstage Registry settings?

I've been looking around a few things, but before I continue with what I'm seeing I'd like to establish a base of people to assist with testing.

Turn on multi-byte support in sonicstage. Turn on multi-byte support in the omg driver.

Can als disable things like connect, burn cd, etc, I believe.

^Correct. It can be used to enable/disable things like: Connect Support, CD Burning Support, CDDB, etc. You can also add menu items, and change the links to menu items such as the support websites, registration websites, etc...

Not a lot you can do, but most of these settings can be changed pre-setup by editing the *.ini scripts...

Any idea how to change the OpenMG setup.inx registry information in the SS2.3 release? The upgraded installer seems to now have it encrypted ><

And do you (or somebody else) know how to enable multi-byte support?

Thanks,

Zdenek

To enable multi-byte support, you will need to edit the following in your registry:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Sony Corporation\OpenMG\PD\{F7D5CB7D-61E5-4258-AD3B-726DBAB5162C}]

"UTOC4"=dword:00000003

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Sony Corporation\SonicStage\PD]

"ShowTitleHalf"=dword:00000001

Not the setup.ini. Setup.inx file is needed to modify the data that gets added to the registry upon installation. Installshield doesn't store the registry keys in the MSI file. If you look at previous setup.inx files in a hex editor, you can easily see the registry keys like UTOC4. I can still change showtitlehalf to 1 by modifying SonicStage's configuration, but can't do it for OpenMG anymore :/
