It means the mains adapter you're using has a too high voltage for your MD unit. What voltage are you using - is it the official 'adapter'? You must use the right one, with the correct polarity, voltage and current - which MD unit are you using?

my mini disc is Sony MZ-G750 and my mains adapter isn't connected
