pjank
I am having sonicstage 2.3 delivered some time next week.Oddly enough, I have not had any problems with Sonicstage 2.1(.00.06071) which came with my MZ-NH1 Hi-MD Walkman and am finding it a reasonable way to manage my audio files stored on my computer. As a musician, I record my gigs on the Hi-MD and then transfer them to sonicstage where I can listen to them, transfer them back to my MD and use Sonys new Wav Conversion software to convert to wav and burn to a cd.often, I have these gigs divided into individual songs and it is often neccessary to compile an audio CD to give to a new band member or client. I do this already outside of sonicstage but it is time consuming work that I do far too often. Will Sonicstage 2.3 allow me to compile and burn an audio cd from tracks in my library? If not, is there any way to do this other than converting each track with the Sony Wav Conversion software and using an external burning program?Perhaps there is a way for a program like Nero to be able to burn oma files.....Thankyou in advance for your time.pjank,Adelaide,South Australia

zerodB
Yes of course it can! Just click the "Transfer" drop-down menu and you should see an option to "Create Audio CD". I'm pretty sure SonicStage 2.1 [Connect] had the ability to do this also, but it seems that Sony disabled this feature in the SonicStage bundled with the HiMD units. Odd.At this present time, SonicStage is the only program that can burn OMA files. I'm not too sure whether you can burn OMA files you upload from your Hi-MD (ie self-made recordings) but than again you still have the WAV convertor, which also comes in handy in case you need to edit the files first.
