how much free-play or movement do you guys experience with the jog dial?
i have a few MD remotes from the yester-years, from the E44, R50, R55 models, that still hold up very excellently, and don't appear as loose as the dial on my new network walkman. even the one on my older E3 walkman didn't have as much.
but after 7-8 years, they're beginning to exhibit odd behaviour, such as pausing after skipping forward a track, etc.
after a couple weeks, my new jog dial seems to wiggle quite a bit, around 1-1.25mm.
i hold it like a vial, and wiggle the jog dial side to side, in clockwise and counter clockwise motions.
i'm just worried that i might of got a bad item and is considering bringing it in to get it replaced, but figured i'd ask you guys to see if i'm just being paranoid.
i understand it should wiggle a bit more than the older MD and network walkmans due to it's nature of sliding in and out for the hold and skipping functions, while the remotes didn't.
