clkou
Hello, I own a Sony Mini-disc R90 model and was considering upgrading to the MZ-NH1. I am a stand-up comic and use my mini-disc to record my shows. From the research I've done the main advantages to upgrade seem to be:1) Upload the files from mini-disc to PC using USB instead of analog real time2) No loss of quality uploading the files from mini-disc to PC3) Option to utilize new 1GB mini-discsAre there any other big advantages to upgrade such as an increase in the quality of audio when recording? Thanks,Jason
spindizzy
Hello, I own a Sony Mini-disc R90 model and was considering upgrading to the MZ-NH1. I←S'funny, I was wondering the exact same thing. My R90 Is great - I got it just before the LP2/4 came out , but decided not to upgrade at that point. Then at New Year, I was looking into the MP3 HD players with mics, but opinion said the record quality was poor.I've only just realised that Hi-MD has come along! So do I take the plunge now, or wait till the 2nd gen. stuff comes out (whenever) and everyone starts knocking a bit off the price of the MZ-NH1 or selling their's so's they can upgrade ...... decisions, decisions!Chris J.
