fastpuma
HI ALL I'M NEW TO THIS MP3 WORLD! I HAVE JUST PURSCHASED MY FIRST MP3 PLAYER, I GOT A COUPLE OF MP3 CDS AND I CANT TRANSFER MY MUSIC FILES OVER TO MY SONY NW505. IN THE PST I HAVE USED NERO RECODE TO CONVERT THE FILES TO WMA THEN SONIC STAGE PICKS IT UP THEN CONVERTING IT TO ATRAC, CAN ANYONE SUGGEST A SOLUTION FOR ME? MAYBE I NEED TO BUY ANOTHER PROGRAM TO CONVERT THE MP3 CD ? THANKS FOR ANY ADVICE.
lxrichbirdxl
WHAT! I can't believe WHAT you said and WHAT you did!Sorry for being so emotional...but dude, you must be joking! Alright, pls tell us what version of sonicstage you use, and what does it say when you try ro import those mp3? Is it caused by the copyright protection...? Btw, I really wonder how you use Nero Recode to convert audio files!!!Nevertheless, I think the easiest way is to copy you mp3s from the cds to your harddrive, and then use Nero to burn them into a cd image. Later run the image with any widely available virtual drive app, such as DAEMON, then use Sonicstage to rip the cd like NORMAL!There you go mate! I use this method when I want to get a gapless album. cuz when the songs are burnt gapless(..essential for a live show), and when it is ripped like normal cd with sonicstage, the atrac files would also be gapless, WHEN THE SONGS ARE PLAYED IN YOUR PLAYER. This is really amazing, cuz a lot of lossy formats such as mp3 would ALWAYS have gaps! All hail Sonicstage & Atrac!!! Or you could just copy the files to your harddisk folder, and select 'import' and afterwards see if you can transfer, provided that the songs are not copyrighted.(I wonder how the XXX iPod poeple bear with the gaps!!!)
