Featfan80 Posted February 22, 2005 Report Share Posted February 22, 2005 (edited) I finally got a box of five 1 gig disks and plan to do live weekly PCM recordings of my daughter's Christian rock band. I plan to transfer the recordings to my computer and then use the WCT in order to make copies to CD. Once I was sure the procedure had worked, I planned to delete the files from the 1 gig disk and then start the whole process again next week. My question is, will Sonicstage leave some residual information on the disk, even though I have deleted all the tracks, that will prevent me from downloading next week's recording. atrain Posted February 22, 2005 Report Share Posted February 22, 2005 no.they are in theory able to be rerecorded 1,000,000 times. this is subject to disc errors, bad sectors & write errors like any disk. i doubt you'd notice any degradation after a years use. I was more worried about Sonicstage's 1 time only downloading of tracks that I have seen people complain about. I just wondered if SS put this info on each downloaded track's info or on some TOC or such info regarding the disk itself. Any answers?
