hey people out there...

please help me. i'm very down now. so here's the problem:

i'm using a mz-n910. everything is fine when i have it plugged to the pc and in the cradle. so i can record music from the pc to the md fine. but when i try to charge the battery by pressing the stop button or plug the dc into the md without having it in the cradle or whatever, when i have the dc plugged in to the main unit i can press any key, don't matter which, and the display is flashing saying pc->->md. so i can't record, change settings or whatever.

please help me i don't know what to do.

thank you a lot

Hi!

I have the same problem with my 910, as you can see above. I really dont know what to do, too. But you should know, it is charging during this pc->->md. I plugged adapter to minidisc, there was nearly empty battery and after about 4hrs was it fully recharged.

But it is strange problem and I dont like it. It doesnt work as it should wink.gif .

So post me when finding some solution please.

David

hey david...

i figured out a reason by phoning sony. you have to send it in. no other way. if you have garanty on it...good. if not...bad. will be very expensive.

I would like to ask you, if you had this problem just from beginning or it started to do it now, after using it.

Do you have already new unit? I think I havent already warranty, so I have to repair it in other way. Do you have some idea? Service mode reseting or something like this?

Thanks, David
