Guest tony wong
well u might not like it, it is bulky. but otherwise i havent heard anything too bad said about it, doesnt have a line or mic in, except for the Euro modeland u are right it doesnt have a HD digital amp←with the price of $100(US$), I cannot ask for too muchthis I know [added]for what I would like the others knowthe models available in hk : NH1, 900, 800, 700is ranged from $340 to $250(US$)....do u really think it is a good bargain for these models available in hk with its price?that's why I am considering 600Dmainly because of the price, $100 Edited March 3, 2005 by tony wong
Christopher
I figure it'd be wise if you just wait until second generation Hi-MD dithers the market and first generation goes down in price.
Guest tony wong
I figure it'd be wise if you just wait until second generation Hi-MD dithers the market and first generation goes down in price.←but they just can't get to $100, right?after serious investigation, I found the following :1. only nh900 have digital amp, but it's selling at $250(very expensive to me)2. nh800, 700, 600 are almost the same if u don't want any live recording abilityanyway, if nh900 sells at around $120-130, I will surely consider it download only is not a problem to me, the reason is because if I ever use it to record music, I will only use Hi-SP or Hi-LP(it's because I have a new bookshelf for MD/MDLP recording already)what 600D attracts me is :1. ability to store data as a bonus2. a chance to step into the Hi-MD community3. u can use it whenever u have a pc that have a usb plug(of course with SS)4. most important, it's cheap as for the bulky problem.....hmm.....the 1st impression of 1st gen Hi-MD units to me is bulky, is because there are only 4 models available in hk(NH1, 900, 800, 700)all except NH1 is really quite bulkybut NH1 is selling @ HK$2698and NH700 is selling @ HK$1998(800 @ HK$2198 and 900@ HK$2398)where except NH1 all are made in china(or malaysia?) modelswhat will u feel if only, u were me?
