nhaigh
Please please tell me why o why Minidisc LP (Long Play) is ignored in ALL reviews of the latest or even older models, i've been wanting to purchase a Mini Disc Deck for my HiFi Seperates that has Long Play functions but this fact is always by passed in every review, so reviewers forget the twizerly buttons and how all the lights flash and blink and o how lovely this sounds (of course it sounds great we know this) get down to the functionality not how an item looks and feels for gods sake.I think LP is important enough to have a mention, i mean surely if your out and about listening to your new recorded minidisc you would want to sqeeze an extra track or album on the end. zerodB
Eh? MDLP support should be listed under the specs of each unit... If a review doesn't include a table of specs you can just look them up in the Equipment Browser here (it has pretty much every MD unit ever made) or just look them on the manufacturers official website.Do some research... turn that frown... upside down. Guest NRen2k5
MDLP is supported by modern units, furthermore most of them have Type-S playback, and it says so in the Minidisc.org Equipment Browser. What more do you need?
bug80
I think nhaigh means, that it's strange that reviewers don't mention the possible benefits of long-play. Also, if I understand it correctly, the quality sound-wise of LP isn't reviewed, whereas this should be as important as how the unit looks.
