Lee_d Posted April 16, 2005 Report Share Posted April 16, 2005 Hi guys im new here and im not shure whare i should post this. anyway ive lost my charger for my sony md walkman mz-n510 and have been searching for it for months but no luck. so i thought never mind ill just buy another but the place sony told me to buy it wonted to charge me 40 odd quid which is rediculous. A440 Posted April 17, 2005 Report Share Posted April 17, 2005 There's nothing magical about Sony's AC adapter. A generic brand should work. See what the input voltage is--right next to the jack it should say something like DC IN 3V--and take the MD with you to an electronics store and ask for a 3 volt (or whatever it is) adapter. Syrius Posted April 18, 2005 Report Share Posted April 18, 2005 Since you mention "Quid" I assume you are in the UK. Make a note of what the voltage requirements are, take it to a store (Maplin?) show them the jack in the unit, and they should be able to find a generic AC adapter that will work with it.
