dwtjan
I realize that Total Recorder has the answer to my question in their help section and toolbar, but it seems they assume I know what the heck they're talking about! I'll state it extremely simplistic, and can only comprehend the same kind of answer: I love LAUNCHCAST internet radio that comes w/my SBC Yahoo! DSL IP subscription. When a song starts playing that I really want, I'll run over to computer and click Total Recorder's record button and get the song, minus the seconds it took for me to hit record button. I know yiu can tell it to allow an alloted amount of time to it to compensate and be able to record entire song. Could someone PLEASE spell it out for me step by step and as plain english as possible?I emailed them for support on this and the answer I received was over my head.THANKS!!! Syrius
Open TR first, then your launchcast thingy. Leave TR on record pause. It should start recording on its own.
ozpeter
In the current version, choose Options > Settings > Pre-recording and set the number of seconds you want to be pre-recorded all the time. If you want, click the "Activate Pre-recording when the program starts" tickbox. Click OK.You can turn the facility on or off using Ctrl/g thereafter, or choose Play/Record > Pre-recording.... In the status window of the main part of the Total Recorder interface you'll see how many seconds have been prerecorded.
