vivaice
how do i install the jp version of SS 3.1? i d/l it off of mora and everytime i try to install it, is say "cannot install with this windows language". Y is this happening?I am currently using an english OS, and i tired installing it with and without changing the regional settings and still it doesn't work, the same problems keeps on poping it. I know there is a post that teaches you how to do it but i don't get it. the link that it was given for the SS 3.1 JP, is an .exe file and the insturctions states to extract it with winrar. how do i do that?By the way, is there any other way to transfer hana/kana/kanji into the MD besides changing my windows setting? I find it really annoying and i don't understand a lot of jp, but i still got it to work to my satisfaction. I have a MC35ELK remote and was using SS 1.5JP, but all of a sudden the Kanji won't transfer anymore.

Once you've completed the installation process, you can certainly proceed with the Japanese version of SonicStage 3.1 and title in Japanese without any problem. However, I am not sure if you can title in Hangul, though. To my knowledge, only the MC55ELK remote allows Hangul text; but of course I could be wrong.Well, do remember to run SonicStage 3.1 Japanese version with Microsoft AppLocale.Enjoy. willykyu
I had the same problem and very cool guys helped me on this forum:http://forums.minidisc.org/index.php?showt...6008&hl=chineseUse any version of Sonicstage with applocale set on japanese (no need to use the japanese one) and all the titles will be displayed in japanese without changing your regional settings. But it won't transfer the kanji/kana to your device. So you have to make a small change into the regedit command. I tried today (I was sick and tired of having strange signs on my Hi-MD remote instead of Kanji/kana), and it works perfectly!!!"pata2001 has provided the following registry edit for SonicStage 3.0/3.1 recently at T-Board. Follow the instruction below and run SonicStage 3.1 [Asia-Pacific version in your case] with Microsoft AppLocale.I can confirm it will work - kanji and kana characters will show as it should.--> Using regedit, go toHKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Sony Corporation\OpenMG\PD\{D887F25F-02A3-44D7-841F-583DD5231B5F}--> Then locate the entry called "AreaCode" with a value of 2 for US version.--> Change it to 40000 hexadecimal. That's the value on the Japanese install of SS.Thanks for the effort pata2001."Hope it will work for you too!
