noddi
Hey guys,i currently own a Sony MDR-ED31LP, and i must say they are great for the price. Although the cord is made of fabric, it tared unfortunately. I guess i needed a bit more care.. I'm searching for new earphones lately (not headphones) and i've come across a few. I am considering the Sony MDR-NX1 for now, its compact and great for hanging my MP3 (Samsung Yepp 55v) on it.I hoping for some suggestions and opinions on this, and it would be great if someone has tried them out. Otherwise, i'll buy the MDR-ED31LP again ^^ (owned them for 2 years now and they're as crisp and powerful as the day i got them).I like earphones that have: - Bass (love it) - Treble (not "high pitched" like the MDR-EX71LP) - Long life - Durability[edit] im considering between these two, Sharp MD-33 or Koss The Plug. Just wondering which are better, and also peoples experiences with them.thanks in advance guys~p.s. price range less that $AU100 Edited April 30, 2005 by noddi
zerodB
The MDR-NX1 are purported to be the same thing as the EX51s, (which themselves are essentially the same thing as the EX71s) so, perhaps you might want to avoid them if you dislike the shrill highs of the EX71s.The MD33 are 4-pole headphones, I'm not too sure how/if they work with standard 3-pole sockets. atrain
don't the md33 come with a little 4->3 converter?
