oseego
I am trying to run the sonicstage 3.1 upgrade program. everytime i run it, it gets to a certain point (different each time) and says "downlaod failed, check you internet connection"I have emailed sony about it and they said I need to call some number in the US about it, but I am in NZ and dont want to make lots of toll calls. There is nothing wrong with my internet connection, i have tried running it thru my gateway and directly from the computer connected to the net (DSL) with the same results. Is anyone else having this problem?ANy help much appreciated. Am currently downloading something that claims to be a full installation with no net connection needed.Owen
Ishiyoshi
Welcome to the forum! You can download the full standalone version of SonicStage 3.1 courtesy of Daijoubu and MDCF --> here. Please note that the current standalone installer is still in beta version; so you may experience some issues. In addition, please search within the "Software Discussion/FAQ's" section for discussion pertaining to Daijoubu's release.
hanyanghy
I had that problem as well. just search another install file from google (as I remember I have downloaded the software from a JP sony website), the new file will be downloaded your program smoothly

In the future, remember to pay attention to the "pinned" section of the Software Discussion/FAQ's, especially this thread - we will periodically update its link according to the latest available version of SonicStage. damianlhayes
Hello All, I am also having trouble installing SS 3.1 but for a different reason. Each attempt results in the message "FAILED TO DOWNLOAD WMP9 CODECS, PLEASE INSTALL IT MANUALLY" the installer then hijacks firefox and loads the Windows Media Player codec website. I've installed all the available codecs on this webpage but nothing changes.I have also downloaded the 'AVI CodecPack + 2'Codec Pack+2I have just completed the herculean task of remastering, and sonicstage is the last program left to replace.help would be much appreciated, thxMy System specs are,P4 1.8512 ramwinxp SP2vaio laptop
