jorgem3
First of all, sorry for my english, that is really bad, second, here's my problem:I've got WinXPSP2, a MZ-NH700 and Sonicstage 3.1, when i try to initialize this one, it hangs up when appears in the splash screen: "initializing UI components". I click on this and THE MENU BAR STARTS BLINKING (in spanish: parpadear, pestañear, titilar). And doesn't work, of course. Here are the solutions i've tried with no results: -Install other versions (2 & 3) -Update my OS-Install framework 1.1 (maybe it's the graphics)-Deactivate animationsI have a laptop Compaq 920LA with a 16 megas Video adapter ATI Radeon IGP 320M.Also i've tried to use Realplayer 10 to transfer my music, but it doesn't detect the MD. Please help me, cos' i work with the MD and i really need the function. Ideas are welcome, i'm looking for any solution that may help me.And if someone knows about other video driver that maybe work for this PC, would be great. Thanks. This forum is really useful. Hope works for me.Jorge
atrain
you are just running a standard install of windows XP, it's not skinned is it?it may well be that your video card is too old to support the software. when you said you deactivated animations you mean the windows ones in the system->advanced section of the control panel? Christopher
Update your graphic card drivers at ati.com. What version of DirectX do you have, btw? (go to start, run, and type in dxdiag to find out)
jorgem3
PROBLEM SOLVED!Thanks Atrain and Kurisu for your comments. The problem started for my skinned windows (uxtheme.dll patched). Came back to the classic interface, reinstall the driver and Sonicstage 3.1 ESP and problem solved. Hope this may be useful for others. See ya
atrain
thought so. flickering & poor screen refresh are usually a sign of aftermarket windows skins.
