Problem: NW-HD3 Operation Issue

whenever i press mode button to see folder or anything my screen freezes & the songs r also not playing properly ,after every 10sec the songs which i have selected to play skip & player plays another song and comes back to same song that i wished to play(i haven`t touched any bottons that time).

Note :yesterday night i dropped my player from 10 cms(about) & theni crashed into my physics book. :ol_sleep:

Its a sad moment for me :ol_sad:

cbse syllabus??? i was looking at copies of ncert textbooks.. any idea where i can buy them?

R u a student of 12th class consult cbse site & ncert site or go to cbse office (vikas marg) Delhi

lol abhinav.. i am much older than that.. my cousin wanted some.. anyways, how good is the warranty of sony in india?? any experiences?

U must have mention it that u want cbse books for ur cousin((BIG LOL& TUBELIGHT).Not bad at all but not good either .Bad b`coz four years back i gave them a walkman "wm-ex-348" & they took a whole year to repair it.but now they r improving last time i gave my discman & they took one day to repair it.

As my network walkman is still in warranty so i will go to sony service centre tomorrow.

Today i gave my nw-hd3 to sony touch point & they told me there seems to be a problem with the hard disk .But i think they were quite irritating also .They waited me for an Hour to give the "job sheet " many other people were also frustrated by that attitute.I`m still in doubt whether they will return my network walkman early.

Does anyone face such problem before?

i haven't had great experiences with Sony Service India, but i don't know if it's sony, or all serivce people here. My friend's i-book had some problems and apple service center in GK, Delhi were just as bad as the sony people i gave my MD player to. I'm sure that you'll get your HD3 back, it might just take some time like you said.

There is some more to add...

After 14 days some sony technician called me on my mobile & asked me to fax my nw-hd3 invoice.When I asked why ,she told me that sony need to take some decision.I don`t know why this time they need my invoice .if have given many things to repair(to sony) under warrenty but none asked for invoice.......

DOES ANYBODY HAVE FACED SUCH A PROBLEM?

I will update it furthur when they will call me again........

Today i call the lady (who called me on my mobile).Then she again asked me for the invoice .I told her that i have already faxed the invoice But she told me that she didn`t get any from the fax room.

Then i faxed again.But this time she gave me a responce & told me that in one or two days a gentleman (from head office service centre)) will pick ur NW-HD3 accessories & box from ur house & as soon as we will get that we replace ur NW-HD3 with a new one.

Sooo now thEY r taking about replacement .nOW I UNDERSTAND WHY THEY WERE ASKING FOR THE INVOICE.

I WILL AGAIN UPDATE AS SOON AS I WILL GET MY NW-HD3..............................

But i would like to tell that sony is selling european models in India,thats why i was also have problems with low volume & i tweaked it last time

I gave my player on 5th Nov & today is 16Dec ..More than 40days...Sony don`t respond well to there customers ..Now my Patience is going to answer......I just want to throw my player a soon as i get it ..I`m really angry with Sony now .. post-5301-1118991997_thumb.jpg

More Amusment from them Now they are sayinfg they will replace it on Monday Quite an amazing thing .How such a big company like "Sony " Doesn`t know about the dates & days.How confused :ol_sly: are they ..Such a bad service Now i`m FURTHER THINKING OF NOT BUYING THEIR PRODUCTS..Such a bad experiance

Today I do got my player back from Sony but just using the player for one hour after than the Front buttons stopped responding &Every botton is working like volume ,menu etc but i can`t play my songs now ..

Sony Engg told me that they couldn`t find the replacement HD3 instead they replace the Hard Disk of the player ..He even told me that if anything goes wrong again then I should contact him again..

Towmmorow I `m taking my player to my retailer for the exchange because it has already given me a lot of headache .Now again I don`t want my player to be left with Sony for another one week ...
