ChrisG
Hi folks,I really need a new MD recorder but need it to be to specific specifications, if possible. Basically I need to be able to record live audio (via a mic) of speeches and conferences for archives, but don't want to transfer it via a line out cable and recording the resultant audio due to the quality loss. I'm looking at being able to do a quick and simple USB upload to my PC and getting the audio into WAV format (easily) and burned onto CDs the same day as recording. Can anyone recommend a good Hi-MD recorder that would suit my needs and isn't too expensive, that will make me getting my audio into WAV format as simple as possible? Thanks. The Low Volta
all Hi-MD models allow USB-to-pc transfer and SonicStage 3.1 (and it is very important that you install this one and not an older version!!) has a wav-converter built in.so just search these forums for other info... (there is A LOT of info on all Hi-MD models, and especially without concrete questions it's definitely too much to repeat here)just one last warning: DON'T get any Hi-MD model with a "D" in the name (like NH600D) as they don't have a mic in!!good luck with your search and welcome to MDCF
