noknees
I would appreciate help in getting tracks from Sonic Stage 3.1 into Audacity so that i can edit them. When I open Audacity and go to the Project Menu and then click Import Audio or Import Raw Data.......under the sonic stage option....I just get a list of what looks like basic program files.......I don't recognize my own recordings which i have named in Sonic Stage before importing........I must be looking in the wrong place in Audacity? I tried the Help menu with Audacity but it didn't seem to answer the question........
KrazyIvan
You can only open Audacity project files, wav, AIFF, AU, MP3, and Ogg vorbis audio files. You cannot import from Sonic Stage unless you have the original mp3 or wav file( or other supported format). Make sure you know where you saved the files and navigate to them using the import audio menu. You can record realtime into Audacity using a cable plugged into the headphone or line out on your MD and the other end into your computer sound card line in. Then setting Audacity to record from your computer line in. Edited May 28, 2005 by KrazyIvan

Ugh, what was I thinking. This is assuming you are using Hi-MD, though. I don't like to assume things, which is what I did in my original post. I assumed you were talking about NetMD recordings.
