BigTony
I need to make some extended recordings on my MZ-NH1 (somewhere in the region of 24 hour) - there will be space on the disc for the recording, but I don't think the battery will last that long (the microphones are running through a phantom power box - so I'll be using the line-in not the powered mic in). Is there an add-in for external battery power for this unit? And if not - why not!CheersBT
Christopher
Unfortunately, there is no external power attachment for this device, but you could craft something that could supply power to the 3v connection, like a small battery backup transformer or something of that sort.. BigTony
I thought that was the case - so my next question.. does anyone have the pin outs on the cable so I can run power into the player via a battery unit? And where can I get hold of the cable/adapter?Cheers (again)BT
Qwakrz
I dont have details of the pinout but will point out that the PSU for the NH1 is 6v and not 3v like all other Hi-MD's. Reason being is that the Li-ion battery is 3.7v and not 1.2v like the others
Christopher
Thanks for the clarification, Qwakrz.
