tharmon
I've had my MZ-NH1 for several weeks now and love it. I've gotten use to using the remote control for most functions. Thought I'd learn how to delete single files using the controls on the main unit without the remote. Also tried to turn off the group function... But I can't get into the menu from the main unit deep enough to find the "REC OFF" ("GroupREC Off") commands! I can only get to the "REC Set" ... "REC Mode"... "Hi-LP"... can't get to the "REC OFF" sub-menu!! What am I missing??? I can't do this on the remote either!Same problem with trying to get to the delet sub-menue. I can do that OK from the remote, but not the main unit. I can get to the Edit-Erase-Track Erase... from the remote, but not on the main unit!Any help??? what am I missing?? Thanks... sebastianbf
I'm not quite sure, but i know that in the mznh1 you can do some settings only via remote control. I suppose that you have the unit set to advance menu option .sebastian
Skradgee
Yep. There are some features on the NH1 that just cannot be reached on only the unit itself. You have to use the remote to turn off certain options, features, etc. Thankfully though, all of the recording options can be accessed without the remote. That is really helpful if you ever find yourself in a situation like that.
