tigris
Now that I got a mic that can be used with my MD, what settings are best for recording?I have an MZ-R500 and just got a boosteroo mic,I've been messing around with it ,but can't find which settings are good for recording a lecture/group discussion.I know, I should place the mic in the middle of the group, but what vol settings? can the record volume be changed? how? I'd read my manual, but I don't have one now.thanks in advance! :-)
sushi
Here is a link to the online manual. If you had typed "mz-r500 manual" in google then you would have found it all by your little self.Welcome to the internet.
tigris
Thanks,I checked it out, but it doesn't mention anything about setting record volume, I assume then this is automatic, that it will record at the same volume regardless if I put the volume to 30 or 1 while recording? Here is a link to the online manual. greenmachine
No, automatic mode adjusts levels automatically, while manual mode obviously doesn't. I suggest to read page 19. It seems to be more comfortable for you to ask than to search and read by yourself.
