Guest Stuge
No, U don`t need any cd or anything for System restore .Its a inbuilt utility in windows xp .Directions.1.Click on start menu2.Then "all programs"3.then go to "Accessories" {new menu will appear}4.Then click on "System Tools" & at last click on "System Restore" icon....Follow the on screen instructions then . Ascariss
The only problem is if his system restore is turned off, it usually isn't since it is set to on when you install windows.I would first try deleting the sony reg entries, would be a faster alternative. delete it, reboot and try to reinstall SS3.2 or above. if that doesn't work, try the restore option, if that fails, format your pc, just kidding. But if that options fails, there is slight chance your might have a virus or something, but then again it might not.you can find hte complete file for SS3.3 on the minidisc.org forums. fastpuma
thanks for your sound advice guys, i have just deleted the reg entries, and it worked just fine, now i have installed sonicstage ver 3.3 and the only problem is that i have to format my sony n505 player to transfer songs onto the device, which i find is a lot of hard work, due to the fact that it be time consuming to transfer all those songs back onto the mp3 player, could you tell me how to remove my OMG JUKEBOX program? i dont use it any more, it was for my sony mini disc player, its not letting me remove it from the add/remove programs, thanks again for your time and great advice.
