bokchoi
Hi, does anyone know how to enable bass on this unit? My cousin has an old MZ-r700 that has a bass on function. In the Mz-N710, there are sound settings, though i dont know which one to choose. thanks

There is no 'bass boost' button. Sony's preset VPT sounds, heavy, live, studio, etc, to my ears just don't sound as good as levels set in the equalizer. And don't forget to turn off AVLS sound limiter!Andrew

dex Otaku
If you can afford to, I'd suggest buying better earphones to begin with. The lack of bass you're experiencing is likely because you're using cheap stock 'buds that came with a player.
