Manolo Caracol
HiI have a lot of oma files (atrac3plus) codified and I want to know if there is any way to normalize the volumen of all the files, using Sonicstage or other software.Another thing, there is a firmware update for the NW-HD5, it only solves one issue related with "suddenly power off" or something similar.thanks in advance
ROMBUSTERS
i dont believe the Atrac encoder will normalize, but you could normalize the WAV, MP3, or WMA you are taking the information from before handing it off to the Atrac encoder
greenmachine
You can use Audacity for normalization and other audio-related processes after converting the *.oma files to *.wav with SonicStage.
Manolo Caracol
and without any intermediate conversion?
greenmachine
I don't think this would be easily possible since these are encrypted, DRM protected files. If it was possible, the software would have to be provided directly from Sony itself or someone would have to crack the scheme. At the moment it seems impossible. ROMBUSTERS
the normalization must occure BEFORE the converstion to Atrac, there are currently no support software that will do it any other way
