discofever
I don't know where this should go, so please feel free to move it.I foolishly got into service mode on my MD, and messed with the settings. Now all my buttons are messed up.Pressing play goes forward song, stop goes back, flicking record plays tracks etcetc. Is there anyway this can be fixed? Even if I take it to an authorised repairer? discofever
Welcome to MDCF!Thanks!!1) Purchase or locate N710's service manual so that you could try and "reset" the unit to its initial settings. *drop me a pm and I will provide you with a reputable service manual dealer. There's a chance that this won't work though, right?2) Contact Sony Service and Repair: click here and initiate the necessary repair procedure accordingly.←I tried the Australian one of this (I guess I should have said where i was from in my first post) and have an address, and have got a couple of places that I'll check out, thanks! atrain
sadly it may cost more to fix given sony australia's high servicing prices than a replacment unit would cost.

They were the same codes I got into it in the first place. So I guess it's off to see the repair man :/
