Hello all

SS3.2 is throwing this error up whenever I try to transfer tracks to Hi-MD.

Error Report

An error has occurred while transferring

Cannot convert the specified track.

SonicStage does not support the file format of the track

or the track is protected by copyright.

Starting Up

Last line is the track name

I have clean installed 3.2, no previous SS was installed. Clean windows xp sp2. Tried initialising the disc to no avail. Does it with all tracks I try to transfer. I have even used foobar to convert them to wav first. Tried conversion at different ATRAC rates as well.

Can't work this out for the life of me.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Hello

wavs were 44.1KHz 16bit. Never had a problem with 3.1. I tried your suggestion and burned tracks to a cd then imported to ss 3.2. Doing that I was able to transfer to the Hi-MD.

I suppose this means I will just have to re-import my entire CD collection?

Yay, thanks Sony! Maybe one day they will learn to write better software........
