How to recover a formated Hi-MD?

Rate this topic

Recommended Posts

Hi,

My NH900 recently bugged during editing the TOC of a Hi-MD, which contents a very important track. While rebooting, the unit hasn't detected any audio file ands formated the MD. I know that the audio is still on the MD, but how can I clone a Hi-MD TOC in order to recover it? I may record a whole Hi-MD, then edit its name and during the edit plug off the device, then change the disc and copy the new TOC, but it may cause damage to my NH900.

Has someone any ideas?

Thx

Martin (France).

Unfortunately, you're propably out of luck.

Blessed were the times when we recorded on tape - no TOC, no system file to corrupt or edit by mistake - everything was still there if power unexpectedly ran out during a recording.

Thanks a lot Green Machine. I will contact Sony even if it's probably out of luck too.
