I put this down to my system though Win98se, 400MHz, 128MB RAM.(Simple burner is about half the speed though)Whats your timing?
Christopher
To convert an album (56 minutes) that is encoded at 320kbps LAME to 256kbps ATRAC3plus Hi-SP and transfer it takes about 4 minutes on my computer. As for transferring an album that has already been encoded, I'll get back to you on that one, but obviously, it wouldn't be very long. ROMBUSTERS
As for transferring an album that has already been encoded, I'll get back to you on that one, but obviously, it wouldn't be very long.←it would probably be very similar to the actual medias read/write speed keeping in mind the seeking and initial spin-up needed to write. Also fragmentation will slow recording down because the unit will need to seek
