mdfan101
Hullo, everyone! I'm really glad I found these forums, but before I explore, I just wanted to know if anyone, anyone at all, could help me. I'm running on an ancient Windows 98 and when I tried installing the CD that came with my MiniDisk, my computer said "Cannot install for this Windows version"...but it says, right there on the CD, that its compatible with Windows 98 SE. So then I try to find a loophole around my cantakerous computer, and I install just SonicStage, which is all I really need, and that goes well. But when I try OPENING SS, it says "Cannot find OpenMG Secure Module. Exiting Sonic Stage." or something very close to that affect. This isn't the first time I've used Sonic Stage. No I'm quite an avid fan of the MiniDisk, though not a very technology savvy one.
Christopher
Welcome..You need to install OpenMG. Try installing Sonicstage v3.2 - links are in the pinned topics within the Software forum..
mdfan101
I was thinking about downloading v3.2, but do you think it's compatible with Windows 98?
Christopher
It should be.
mdfan101
I got "Cannot install for this Windows version" again. If I can just get that OpenMG Secure Module bit to open SonicStage I'd be happy...bah. I'm going to talk this out with my dad, see what's up with the computer.
