hi here,

this really is a post for the software support section so I guess the mods will move it over there....

but I'll try and help you a bit:

- first, the description of the problem is a bit vague I'm afraid... please read and post according to the rules with a full description of your system specifications and of the problem... like whether the NH700 is recognized or doesn't even appear at all, is there an error, does it crash the PC,...

- you could always try a clean install (like described here) of the newest version of SS, which is 3.2 (from here)

so please try the clean install of 3.2 and if the problems persist, do feel free to post further questions (and a full description following the rules) in this thread (it might have been moved to software discussions/FAQ's in the meantime though...)

good luck

I've got a himd player model MZ-NH700. I recieved sonic stage 2.1 and i've now downloaded and installed sonic stage 3.1. However in the new version although i can convert to wav i can't transfer files from my player to my pc or vice versa. Any ideas what the problem could be?

Having the very same problem, also with an NH-700.

SonicStage 2.1 deleted some tracks off a disc of original recordings on me, so I decided to upgrade, but now 3.1 won't connect to the player at all.

I've been told to upgrade to 3.2, but since I don't have the net at home, this is impossible until someone comes up with a standalone installer.

If you find a solution to this prob, PLEASE post it, as will I if I come up with anything.

Cheers!
