hey guys im a newbee MD person who is on holidays in japan ive got the bug!!

i have my own studio in Australia and a portable laptop recording system but hey

its still a lot work, im thinking that HI-MD could be good for sampling sounds for

my video projects outdoors and also recording with out all the hassle at the blues jams that i run, im looking at a HI-MD recorder and microphone that will work best for this type of situation i understand that the MZ-RH10 and the MZ-RH1 are at the top of there game, but then there is the new MZ-M100 wich is said to be like the

MZ-RH10, but is it better or are they just taking advatage of the MAC users ? i run a PC setup so if the only advantage is accsess to mac then i dont need it. is the MZ-RH10 second generation HI-MD? and can you help me with the best microphone choice for a blues orintated pub recording.

thanks in advance guys!!

The MZ-M100 is mostly a repackaged RH10 with uploading tool for the Mac, and a Sony mic.

But if you have a PC, it could be better to get a 2nd gen RH10 (or 1st gen NH1) and find a better suited mic.

yes i think the RH10 is my man i will buy a Sony mic for my

wife to use for her lectures and do some more research on

recording mics and purchase one or two down the track.

ill be in Tokyo tomorrow it will be sunday but the big stores trade 24/7

there til late at night i did try to score a RH10 from i-store yesterday in JP

but due to a public holiday they couldnt sort it out in time for me but

the price was cheap 26,400 yen wich is 240.985 USD or for the OZZIES

312.035 AUD but i think ill be paying a bit more than that tommorrow sad.gif

if theres any acceseries i should consider while im here please let me know?
