A3000 Firmware bugs..

Compared to the bugs in the Connect, the A3000 firmware is quite bug free, or so it seems.

However, today I have been playing quite a few tracks on the unit, and rating some of them 4* and 5*

However, if I now go into "Recently Played", it shows only 2 of the tracks I played today, instead of the 50 or so..

My Favorite 100, also shows the 2 same tracks, none of the other stuff I have been listening to.

Is this a bug? Anyone else seen this behaviour???

did you use sonic stage or CP to transfer the tracks ?

in case of sonic stage the 2 funktion will not work.

I have the same problem sadly, and I used CP to transfer all my files. I am planning on contacting sony regarding this on my A1000.

My favourite shuffle doesn't store the info, nor does the play history.

The artist link hasn't work for me as well, but I am wondering if I need to add as well the date to my songs in order for it to work?

for play history the update only take place every time you connect the player to CP.

connect the player to CP disconnet it and you will see the songs in the history

the favorite shuffle is linked to your 100 top songs. is this folder empty the shuffle will not work.

the same her, every time you connect the player to CP the update will happen.

Ok, connected, the fav 100 and play history just updated, thanks for the info on that nw_lover.

oddly sony doesn't mention you have to do this, lol. should go into the faq when we make one.

it's strange

after playing a round with the a1000, i could get the artist link feature work :-)

don't ask me how but as you can see in the attached picture it works ?!

i have only mp3 on my a1000 and all have the same id tag information but it works not for all the artists/songs ?!

mmmmmmmm strange

it seams that the a1000 has its on life somehow and as more as you use it as more funktion are available ;-)

I guess some problems like this will be fixed with the new firmware update... by the way, any news about this update? it should be available this month right? wit WMA support... guess it'll be at the same time than CP v3... speculations speculations...

Indeed, that is what I am wondering myself for the firmware update. So far nothing on sony's site regarding this, so I would assume mid to late dec for the update.

Also regarding CP, perhaps it will be version 1.2 or 1.5? not v3. whatever be the case, it better arrive soon.
