jaeson2953
Does anyone know how long NW-HD3's built-in battery lasts before it needs repalcement?
0 Guest Stuge
It mainly depends upon your usage. As battery life @ Atrac 132pbs is about 26 hours..also Depending on temperature and environment conditions, the battery may have about 300~ 500 charging cycles. If you are normal user then your battery should last 2 years..Basically sony recommends that when your battery last half the life then usual then you should consult Service centre to replace the old battery with a new one.. 0 ajitp
i guess you could try yourself the way that people change their ipod batteries, but i'm sure it would void the warranty.

0 apache
i'm wondering . Sony's product life cycle is very short , they are now stop making and selling HD3 , so the question is : NEXT 2 YEARS, will I able to find a battery for HD3 ??? Even if there will be still HD3 batt available , usually, here in Asia, sony often asks us to leave the item there , wait for shipment from *come other countries* with a f*@$#$cking price.I read the service manual and found it is not so hard to open a HD3, is there any similar battery that can be used for HD3 ( doesn't matter if it fit or not , just want to conect and use ) or is there any way to run HD3 by using adapter ? ..... I have these questions beccause i'm thinking of using HD3 in my car if my HD3's batt ever gone and there would be no support from Sony
