I am buying the NWA 608

I need your help, guys. My son wants me to buy the NWA 608 for Xmas, will have to settle for the purple, daughter wants one as well. Shame there is not much choice of colours here in UK. Have seen one at Pixmania, the cheapest is £135. My main problem is i have got windows 98SE who does not support connect. I have already got a NWE with sonic stage 3.3. Shall I risk it and buy the player and use sonicstage with it? I will be getting a new compputer after the New Year and they cannot wait that long. Another solution is for them to have it done at their friend's place. Please, what advice can you give me. Thanks

What about the mp3 file manager that you can install on the unit to just drag and drop mp3s onto it? Does that not work with Win98? If they use mp3s instead of atrac that might be ideal. Just a thought.

I am afraid it has got to be the violet for both of them, son wants a blue colour and have not seen one yet. I have seen the gold colour on sony website but he does not like that colour.

I told you to buy Gold one because it`s a limited edition model but Violet on the other hand also looks really great.So buy new Violet A608 & please share you review.

I`m not sure whether Mp3 file manager ver2 is compatible with new A600(series) or not.

I installed Mp3 manager 2.0, and it wasn't recognized at all, I will try first opening CP and then trying it via MP3 manager, but I doubt it will work.
