Guest Stuge
3) no it doesnt ask to connect to the internet. is there some way i can connect to the net and download the rights info?I only asked you because sometimes Sonic stage asks for internet also but it is usless.(forget about it)Now ....Unfourtunately you will need to delete all the files that you have in your Sonic stage ver3.3, you can`t do anything now.and you will again need to import music from Cd,mp3(original source from where you recorded the music earlier)etc..Even when i do get this message i need import all the music i have. This because of Sony DRM policy

hawaii808
Hi, I'm in the same boat as RAJ, I didn't backup my music library either and having similar problems with SS 3.3 I tried to playback my music and sonic stage prompt me about connecting to the internet and downloading the license for the track. After clicking yes, I get "cannot load the rights to the selected track" "the file format may not be supported by sonic stage" Is there a quick solution to this problem or must I delete all my (license-less) music files and re-install all my cd library again? jaeson2953
Hi,I'm also having the same problem with SS3.4. Same error message as rajdeep02 & hawaii808 described above. But, this problem does not occur to all the files (albums) imported from CD's. I've noticed I can still play one album with no problem, yet the error message comes up when I try to play another album that I imported on the same day.I understand I might have no choice but to re-import, but does anybody know what causes this error? Could it be something I did (accidently deleting license data or something)?Any advice would be appreciated.
Guest Stuge
jaeson2953,I know this not the answer to your question but there are lot of bugs still there in SSver3.3 & up .
jaeson2953
Stuge, I think your comment is right.Either my SS3.4 is messed up or there are still many bugs to be cleaned up.I can transfer files (which I cannot play on SS3.4 due to missing rights information) to my NW-HD3, and they play just fine. This is a relief to me since I usually use NW-HD3 for listening. But, does it make any sense? DRM policy should not let me even transfer if I (=my pc) don't have rights, right? Guest Stuge
In which format are these files are ?Mp3 or Atrac .If mp3 then SonicStage ver3.4 will not even let you to convert it to Atrac.I`m still having the problem of Converting some of (about 200)the Mp3 files to Atrac.SonicStage ver3.0 is able to do that but not SSver3.3 or SSver3.4 . jaeson2953
The files I've tried are ATRAC3 132kbps and ATRAC3plus 256kbps.By the way, I just tried converion (mp3 192kbps -> ATRAC3plus 192 kbps) and it worked fine. I'm using SS3.4.

JSP62
I have done a google on this issue last week.Interestingly I found a link that discusses this issue and had a possible resolution.ref: http://www.blazemp.com/convert_oma.htmThings are busy and I have not had a chance to try it out, but plan on giving it a shot in the next 2 days.
