vms4ever
Owner of a Net MD Walkman MZ-N505 Minidisc RecorderI used to have no trouble transferring songs from my PC to MD. I am currently running OpenMG Jukebox v2.2 (cd that came with it) on my PC and I am having troubel transferring songs. I have tried downloading newer version of OpenMG and SonicStage with unchanged results. This did not used to be an issue before my hard drive, containing all my music, almost crashed. After a drive clone, to restore my PC, to close to previous condition, I have not been able to copy music to my midisc. I can import them into the jukebox, but when I attempt to check them into the minidisc, it gets to about 9% and then just hangs, ultimately forcing me to close the program. The only message I get is that there is a copyright issue. Is there any hope for my previously accessable music, or should I just consider it lost. Should I just give up with my previously loved $ony and switch to something less restrictive, like (it hurts me to say) an IPod or similar non-restrictive portable harddrive. Please, save an MD, any responses with be honored

vms4ever
atrain,Thanks for the link. The instructions you helped provide me brought back a thought to be dead NetND back into the world. Everything works as it used to and for that I am truely grateful. I know that $ony, caught between two worlds, is limited in its options when dealing with something like copyrights, but the internet, open source, and open minds like yours are always a breath of fresh air. Again, I thank you, you have renewed my faith in the internet and truely good people.Thanks,vms4ever Edited August 31, 2005 by vms4ever
