Christopher
Well, I think that this topic has been discussed ad naseum, but I would probably go with the RH10 at this point. The OLED would be especially useful during nighttime recordings. Do you have any other Minidisc equipments? If you have NetMD unit or older then it'd probably be best to get a NH900 as the first generation of Hi-MD are better compatible with the old standard. It's necessairely with HI-MD. Yès, the OLED its a truely avantage. Nevertheless, just a few questions :. Is identical digital amplifier, and the same audio quality ?. What's the difference in autonomy with alcaline battery or reload battery. Is there an inflence between Sonicstage 2.0 (NH900), and 3.2 (RH10) for the best audio qualityFriendly
The Low Volta
. Is identical digital amplifier, and the same audio quality ?I do know there are some differences between amps, but I forgot what exactly, but as far as recording is concerned...all HiMD provide very good quality (in HiSP or PCM). What's the difference in autonomy with alcaline battery or reload batterywell, AA's can go up to 2800mAh (rechargable) and gumsticks to 1400mAh, so you can do the maths I guess... but all models with a gumstick battery come with an AA addon, so you can use the 1400mAh gumstick and the 2800 (or in my case 2500)mAh rechargable AA so no need to worry about that... just be carefull with the NH1, it has a proprietary LiIon batt and no AA-addon. Is there an inflence between Sonicstage 2.0 (NH900), and 3.2 (RH10) for the best audio qualitythe SS version isn't dependent on the HiMD model... forget the CD that comes with it and immediately install SS3.2!it has a lot of improvements over all previous versions (and especially over 2.0 )just check these forums for reviews of 3.2 and download links)*edit: for comparissons of the NH900/700 and the RH10 just read this thread and this onehope this helps Edited September 5, 2005 by The Low Volta
